The Cooters "Punk Metal"
new compact disc is out now!
released by Profane Existence Records on June 1, 2005
| This is it: the Cooters album that almost wasn't. Recorded between 2001 and 2003 the DIY way: no budget, no studio, and nobody to help. Nobody but Tom Queyja that is, who found an old, abandoned wood house, right in the middle of Oxford, Mississippi, and converted it into a functioning studio. Tom took us in and recorded hours upon hours of Cooters songwriting, jamming, and rocking out with some of our close buddies. It was hard, certainly not easy, and we have some scars on our souls from it, but somehow we |
 |
managed to pull it all together and whittle the tapes into a cohesive collection that kicks ass. Profane Existence Records have released the CD, and we couldn't be more honored. This album is 100% D.I.Y. COOTERS PUNK METAL!
